This Privacy Notice explains how Stockaisle Ltd collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data when you visit stockaisle.com, request information, create or use a Stock Aisle account, start a trial, subscribe to Stock Aisle, contact us, or use our software platform.
Stock Aisle is a business-to-business software-as-a-service platform. We provide software tools for businesses to manage inventory, product catalogues, CRM records, purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, analytics, wholesale portal access, messaging, delivery tracking and AI-assisted inventory operations.
Stock Aisle provides software only. We do not sell, supply, inspect, approve, warehouse, fulfil, deliver, collect payment for, or take responsibility for products traded by our customers through the platform.

2. Our data protection role
2.1 When Stock Aisle is a controller
We act as controller for:
- website operation and security
- demo requests and sales enquiries
- account signup and administration
- free trial and subscription management
- billing and payment administration
- customer support
- service and marketing communications
- analytics and product improvement
- security, fraud prevention and audit logging
- legal, tax, accounting and compliance obligations
2.2 When Stock Aisle is a processor
We act as processor when a business customer uploads or manages data inside its Stock Aisle organisation workspace. The business customer is normally the controller and Stock Aisle processes the data under our Data Processing Terms (Schedule 1 of the Terms).
3. Personal data we collect
3.1 Website visitor data
- IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system
- Pages viewed, date and time of visit, referral source
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Cookie preferences and consent records
- Analytics data, where consent is required and has been given
3.2 Enquiry, demo and marketing contact data
- Name, email address, phone number, business name, job title
- Country or region, message content, marketing preferences, communication history
3.3 Account and business customer data
- Business name, business address, billing address, business contact details
- Account admin name and email, phone number, login details, user role and permissions
- Subscription plan, trial start and end date, subscription status, account settings
3.4 Payment and billing data
We use Stripe to process subscription payments. We may receive billing name, billing email, billing address, subscription status, invoice records, payment status, payment method reference, and the last four digits of a payment card. We do not intentionally store full card numbers.
3.5 Platform user data
- Name, email address, phone number, organisation name, role and permissions
- Login records, audit logs, account actions, messages, support requests, security events
3.6 Customer workspace data
Business customers may upload staff and manager details, invited customer details, supplier and contact records, order records, invoices, purchase orders, sales orders, product catalogue information, inventory data, delivery tracking data, messages, uploaded documents, analytics records and audit logs. Stock Aisle normally acts as processor for this data.
3.7 AI-related data
AI features may process customer workspace data to provide inventory suggestions, analytics, summaries, answers, recommendations, forecasts or operational assistance. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not use customer workspace data to train shared or general AI models.
3.8 Special-category and criminal offence data
The platform is not intended for special-category personal data or criminal offence data. Customers must not upload such data unless Stock Aisle has expressly agreed this in writing.

5. Marketing communications
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting contact@stockaisle.com. Opting out does not stop important service communications such as billing, security or trial reminders.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform. Some are necessary for the website and platform to work. Others are used only where required consent has been given. For more information, please read our Cookie Policy.
7. Who we share personal data with
- Cloud hosting providers, including AWS and Google Cloud Platform
- Payment providers, including Stripe
- Email and communication providers
- Analytics, support, database, error monitoring, logging, security and infrastructure providers
- Professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants and auditors
- Regulators, courts, authorities or law enforcement where legally required
- Buyers, investors or advisers in connection with a proposed business sale, merger or restructuring
8. International transfers
We are a UK company. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including approved contractual safeguards, international data transfer agreements and supplier due diligence.
9. How long we keep personal data

10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, encryption at rest where supported, access controls, audit logging, backups, monitoring, confidentiality obligations and incident response processes. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Depending on your location and circumstances, you may have rights to:

12. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle personal data, please contact us first at data@stockaisle.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or another relevant data protection authority.
13. Children
Stock Aisle is a B2B platform and is not intended for children. Users must be legally able to use business software or act for a business.
14. Changes to this Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users or business customers by email, in-app notice or website notice.
