Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of the Stock Aisle website and, where applicable, the Stock Aisle software platform. By using our website, creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing to Stock Aisle, or accessing the platform as an invited user, you agree to these Terms.
If you create or use an account on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.

2. What Stock Aisle provides
Stock Aisle provides business-to-business SaaS tools for businesses, including:
- product catalogue management
- inventory management
- CRM
- orders, purchase orders, sales orders and invoices
- analytics
- wholesale portal access
- messaging and delivery tracking
- AI-assisted inventory operations and insights
Stock Aisle provides software only. We do not sell, supply, inspect, approve, warehouse, fulfil, deliver or take payment for products traded by customers through the platform. We are not the seller, buyer, marketplace operator, courier, warehouse provider, tax adviser, accountant, broker, agent or payment processor for product transactions between business customers and their own customers.
3. Business use and authority
Stock Aisle is intended for business use. If you use Stock Aisle on behalf of a business, you confirm that:
- you are authorised to act on behalf of that business
- you have authority to bind that business to these Terms
- the information you provide is accurate and complete
- the business will comply with these Terms
- the business is responsible for all users and activity in its organisation workspace
4. Account roles and organisation workspaces
Business admins are responsible for:
- creating and managing the organisation workspace
- inviting users and assigning permissions
- removing users who should no longer have access
- controlling what invited users can see and do
- reviewing user activity and managing organisation data
- ensuring all users comply with these Terms
5. Invited users
A business customer may invite staff, managers, suppliers, contacts or business customers to access the platform. Invited users understand and agree that:
- they are invited by the relevant business customer, not directly by Stock Aisle
- Stock Aisle provides software only
- orders, invoices, delivery details, products, prices and disputes are between the invited user and the business that invited them
- Stock Aisle is not responsible for products, pricing, fulfilment, delivery, returns, refunds, taxes or disputes
6. Free trial
We may offer a free trial, currently for 15 days. Unless we state otherwise:
- card details are required to start a free trial
- the free trial automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends
- we may send a reminder before the trial ends
- the business admin is responsible for cancelling before the trial ends if the business does not want to be charged
- we may suspend or end a trial at any time if we reasonably believe there is abuse, fraud, misuse, or breach of these Terms
7. Subscription, billing and taxes
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Unless we agree otherwise:
- subscription fees are charged at the start of each monthly billing period
- fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by us in writing
- cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period
- we may change prices by giving reasonable notice
- the customer is responsible for any taxes, duties or levies that apply to their use of the service
8. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry after approximately 3 days. During the retry period we may allow full access. If payment is not completed after the retry period, we may restrict, suspend or limit access. We are not responsible for losses caused by failed payment or access restriction.
9. Cancellation
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months, unused features, unused users, unused AI usage, or periods where the customer chooses not to use the platform, unless required by law or expressly agreed by us in writing.
10. Customer responsibilities
The business customer is responsible for all activity in its workspace, including:
- all users, invited users and permissions granted
- all product information, legality, safety and compliance
- prices, discounts, taxes and VAT
- invoices, purchase orders and sales orders
- fulfilment, delivery, returns, refunds and disputes
- local law compliance and obtaining all necessary licences and permits
The business customer must check all information before relying on it or sending it to customers, suppliers, authorities or third parties.
11. Products, orders and transactions
Stock Aisle is not responsible for whether a product is legal, safe, genuine, available or correctly described; whether orders are accepted, fulfilled, paid or delivered; or any dispute between a business customer and its customer, supplier, staff member or other third party. The business customer is solely responsible for all commercial transactions conducted using the platform.
12. Generated documents
The platform may generate invoices, purchase orders, sales orders, reports and other business records based on information entered by the customer or its users. Stock Aisle does not verify the legal, tax, accounting or operational accuracy of generated documents. The customer must review and approve documents before using, sending or relying on them.
13. AI-assisted features
Stock Aisle includes AI-assisted features that may assist with inventory operations, analytics, forecasts, recommendations, insights, search, summaries and query answering.
- AI outputs are suggestions only. Humans must review and approve actions.
- We do not guarantee that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, current, suitable, lawful or error-free.
- Customers must not rely on AI outputs as legal, tax, financial, accounting or professional advice.
- Unless expressly agreed in writing, customer workspace data is not used to train shared or general AI models.
14. Acceptable use
You must not use Stock Aisle to:
- break any law or regulation
- sell, list, promote or facilitate illegal goods or services
- upload false, misleading, harmful or infringing content
- misuse personal data or upload special-category data without written approval
- send spam or unlawful marketing
- harass, abuse, threaten, exploit or discriminate
- distribute malware or attempt unauthorised access
- scrape, reverse engineer, overload, damage or interfere with the platform
- use the platform for fraud, bribery, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions breaches or illegal trade
- use AI features for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, discriminatory or unsafe purposes
15. Restricted products
15.1 Prohibited products
- Illegal goods or services, stolen goods, counterfeit goods
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives or weapon parts
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Human body parts, human remains or human tissue
- Malware, hacking tools or stolen credentials
- Fake IDs, forged documents or fraudulent certificates
- Unsafe products subject to recall; sanctioned goods, persons or countries
- Endangered wildlife products or products banned by applicable law
15.2 Products requiring prior written approval
The following require prior written approval from Stock Aisle:
- Alcohol; tobacco, vapes or nicotine products; medicines; medical devices; supplements
- Food and drink; cosmetics; knives or blades; chemicals or hazardous substances
- Electronics requiring safety compliance; toys or children's products; adult products
- Financial products or services; gambling or lottery products; drones; telecoms or radio equipment
- Export-controlled goods; high-value luxury goods requiring authenticity controls
16. Customer data and data protection
The customer must ensure it has all rights, permissions and lawful bases required to upload, use and process personal data in Stock Aisle. Where Stock Aisle processes customer workspace personal data on behalf of the customer, Stock Aisle acts as processor and the customer acts as controller. The Data Processing Terms in Schedule 1 apply.
17. Data retention and deletion
If a business customer requests deletion of an organisation, we aim to delete or anonymise organisation data from active systems within 60 days, unless retention is legally, operationally or contractually necessary. Backups may be retained for up to 30 days before being overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
18. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect the platform. Customers and users are responsible for keeping login details secure, using strong passwords, controlling account access, removing users who should no longer have access, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
19. Support
Support is provided by email at contact@stockaisle.com. We will use reasonable efforts to respond. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not guarantee specific response or resolution times.
20. Availability
We will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the platform available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, security issues, third-party outages or events outside our reasonable control.
21. Changes to the platform
We may change, update, improve, suspend, remove or replace features from time to time. We may release beta or experimental features that may be incomplete, unstable, changed or withdrawn at any time.
22. Intellectual property
Stock Aisle owns or licenses all rights in the website, platform, software, interface, workflows, AI features, documentation, branding and related materials. Customers retain ownership of their own business data and uploaded content.
23. No professional advice
Stock Aisle does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, product safety, regulatory, customs, logistics or professional advice. Any reports, AI outputs, analytics or platform-generated documents must be reviewed by the customer before use.
24. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access if:
- payment is overdue
- the customer or user breaches these Terms
- we suspect fraud, abuse, misuse or security risk
- we identify legal, regulatory, sanctions or compliance risk
- we are required to do so by law
- continuing access may harm Stock Aisle, users, customers or third parties
25. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stock Aisle is not liable for loss of profits, loss of sales, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, business interruption, AI output errors, third-party service failures, or indirect, special or consequential losses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stock Aisle's total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid by the customer in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
26. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Schedule 1: Data Processing Terms
These Data Processing Terms apply where Stock Aisle processes customer personal data on behalf of a business customer.
Roles: The business customer is the controller; Stock Aisle is the processor for customer workspace personal data.
Purpose: Hosting, storing, organising, displaying, transmitting, backing up, retrieving, analysing, securing and otherwise processing customer personal data to provide the platform.
Sub-processors: The customer gives Stock Aisle general authorisation to use sub-processors. Stock Aisle will notify customers of material sub-processor changes and will require sub-processors to provide appropriate data protection commitments.
Breach notification: Stock Aisle will notify the customer without undue delay, and where feasible within 72 hours, after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting customer personal data.
Deletion: At end of service, organisation data is deleted or anonymised from active systems within 60 days after organisation deletion. Backups may remain for up to 30 days and will be overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
